Fabric Supervisor - FM Service Provider - Iconic Site - North West London - Up to 50k + Overtime
Fantastic opportunity to work for a privately owned FM Service Provider situated in North West London. CBW are currently recruiting for a Fabric Supervisor to be based on an iconic & landmark building in North West London. The role holder will complete a range of activities including direct line management of a team of 4 Fabric Technicians, inspection and quoting of small works, planning and coordinating repairs, and supporting the team with painting and decorating, carpentry, and building inspections.
Hours of Work
Monday to Friday - 08:00am to 17:00pm
Flexible approach to working weekends or weekday evenings based on the demands of the site.
Parking on site.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
1. Compilation and submission of extra work quotations to the customer.
2. Adherence to set standards in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) requirements.
3. Ensure onsite Quality Assurance procedures are adhered to and maintain accurate records/documentation associated with completed works.
4. Early diagnosis of fabric or plant problems/failures that may impact on the client's business and safety. Communicate details of all plant problems/failures to ensure swift action and resolution.
5. Coordinate and undertake planned tasks in accordance with set schedules, ensuring standards are maintained to maximise the appearance and operational effectiveness of the building and associated systems, including a range of fabric maintenance activities such as painting and decorating, carpentry, and building inspections.
6. Carry out hands-on fabric duties alongside the team as required.
Requirements
1. NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 - Fabric discipline (building, carpentry, decorating, etc).
2. Supervisory or management experience.
3. Experienced in general building Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules.
4. Ability to multitask and work within a fast-paced environment.
5. Desirable - Competent working knowledge of water systems and Legionella Awareness.
