Role & Responsibilities
We are currently looking for positive, compassionate, and caring Support Workers to join our supported living service in the Durrington, Worthing area. Our service provides 24 hours support to 2 males sharing their home together who have severe learning disabilities with autism. The service has capacity to support 3 service users, which we expect to increase to full capacity in the near future. You will be providing a high level of care and ensuring their safety and well-being whilst showing a positive can-do attitude.
Duties may include but are not limited to:
1. Assist the people we support in all areas of their lives and help them to achieve their goals.
2. Participate in providing daily activities for the people we support.
3. Undertake tasks of a domestic nature, e.g. shopping, cooking, laundry, house cleaning with individuals.
4. Develop and maintain professional relationships with people we support’s relatives, outside agencies and other professionals.
5. Support individuals in their personal care when appropriate.
6. Support and care for those who can at times display behaviours that others may find challenging.
7. Develop a full knowledge and understanding of administrative procedures pertaining to the people we support, including reports, support plans and daily recordings.
8. Undertake the role of keyworker for an individual.

Requirements:
* Staff work on a shift basis across the week and have a monthly rota; some weekend working is required. We pay £12.13 per hour.
* Regular sleep-in duties will be required as part of the role - these are paid in addition at £70.00 per sleep in.
* All of our positions require an Enhanced DBS check in relation to adults.
* Full UK driving licence is preferable due to location and links to public transport.
