Community Integrated Care is offering an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and self-motivated Service Leader Assistive Technology. The Shift Leader will be based in the Virtual Care Centre in Widnes and will lead the Team of Operators to enable people supported to live the best lives possible.
Community Integrated Care is responding to the changing needs of the population, and the opportunities offered through an increasingly digital world, by investing in a groundbreaking project around technology in care. The project aims to create new TEC solutions that will revolutionise the social care sector and enable those with support needs to live the best lives possible.
The successful Virtual care centre shift manager will have extensive experience working in a leadership role within the social care sector and with people supported with a variety of learning disability or mental health needs. They will use their experience and expertise to manage challenging situations effectively, either for people supported within the care centre or as part of the organisational on call.
Using the TEC platform and the information available through it, the Shift Manager will ensure the service is meeting individual needs and that people supported are safe and supported in all aspects of daily living, ensuring physical, emotional and social needs are met in accordance with their support plans. People supported should be encouraged to dare to reach their goals and aspirations, as independently as possible.
As part of the Team of Shift Managers, there will be a requirement to provide day and night shifts to ensure there is 24/7 support available in the VCC.
The care centre team are continually striving to become a centre of excellence for TEC within the sector. The Shift Leader will be part of the TEC project team and play an important part in delivering our ambitious vision and growth plan for TEC.

What skills and experience do we need from you?
Shift Patterns
1. This is a 24/7 service so there will be a mixture of days, early shifts, late shifts, nights, weekends and bank holidays involved. You must be flexible to work across all of these.
2. Day shifts are 7.30am till 7.30pm, night shifts are 7.30pm till 7.30am
3. Between the hours of 5pm and 9am this role provides Charity wide On Call support across England and Scotland
Experience:
1. Experience of leading teams and managing performance
2. Proven track record of working in a health or social care setting
3. Ideally experience working within mental health
4. Experience of working independently
5. Proven track record of identifying risks and finding solutions
6. Understanding of person-centered support
7. Experience of working to CQC/CI regulations and inspection processes
Qualifications:
Professional qualification in Health and Social Care level 5 is desirable
