Job Description An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Certification Systems Coordinator to join a global organisation based in Kettering, within its Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Certification department. This key role involves managing and maintaining a robust ISO17065 quality management system (QMS) to ensure compliance and uphold standards in line with EU and UK PPE regulations. About the Role The successful candidate will report to senior leadership while collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders. Key responsibilities include: Maintaining and improving the internal ISO17065 Quality System. Planning, conducting, and overseeing internal audits. Coordinating external committees, documentation, and follow-up communications. Conducting gap analyses for new product development groups. Monitoring external systems to notify stakeholders of significant certification decisions. Coordinating staff training and tracking competency records. Analyzing and reporting on quality metrics, customer feedback, and departmental performance. Reviewing and updating internal and external documentation templates. Supporting additional administrative and compliance-related activities. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and attributes: Relevant experience in a laboratory, certification body, or similar technical environment. Alternatively, qualifications (A-Level or equivalent) in a science-based subject or Mathematics. Familiarity with PPE regulations and ISO 17065 systems is beneficial but not essential. Exceptional organisational and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail. Effective communication abilities, including excellent written and verbal English. Proactive problem-solving skills, paired with creativity and perseverance. A commitment to ongoing learning, particularly regarding changing standards and regulations.
