Engineering Maintenance Apprenticeship
Scotland’s confectionery brand leader has an opening for an Engineering Maintenance Apprentice. The role will provide a training opportunity in a range of engineering maintenance tasks including testing, repair, and installation work across a wide range of specialist equipment, production lines, and services.
The main responsibilities of the role include:
1. Engage with the Operations team to provide proactive support to the plant and equipment.
2. Ensure all breakdowns are dealt with promptly and efficiently.
3. Undertake preventative maintenance activities and routine safety inspections.
4. Fault finding and diagnostics in reactive breakdown or planned situations.
The successful candidate may be offered day release to study for SVQ Level 2/3 and NC/HN qualifications once the initial competency assessment has been completed successfully. College study modules will include:
1. Turning
2. Milling
3. Hand Fitting
4. Mechanical Assembly
5. Mechanical Maintenance
