ARC inspirations are looking for a passionate individual to join our Finance team on a 15 months fixed term contract. This role will ensure that the business’s transactional finance processes are accurate and timely, including; processing and payment of purchase invoices, reconciliation of supplier accounts, processing of site and head office bank reconciliations and site business sheets. As we say, Nobody Does It Better. www.arcinspirations.com Key responsibilities: This role will work closely in supporting the Finance Manager and some of the responsibilities will include: Lead, mentor, support and motivate a team of three colleagues Develop processes and controls across the transactional Finance team, to help improve the efficiency of the team and the accuracy of its output Ensure all site bank reconciliations are reconciled on a weekly basis and transactional entries entered into Sage Intacct accurately including processing of site business sheets Ensure supplier accounts are fully reconciled to supplier statements on a monthly basis Ensure timely processing and payment of all invoices received by the business including direct debit payment allocations Closely monitor supplier accounts to ensure cash flow is maximised with supplier accounts being paid to terms Ensure all invoices are authorised by relevant individuals prior to payment New suppliers are set up correctly and regularly maintained in Sage Intaact Chase any outstanding credit notes Deal with supplier queries in a timely manner and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers Raise any adhoc sales invoices for customers or supplier rebates Other administration duties for the Finance Team and Office Other adhoc duties which are required as part of the role and supporting the team Key Competencies / Qualifications: Key Skills At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role in a finance department Prior line management experience Experience of using Sage Intacct is desired, or other similar accounting software Experience of using Paperless is desired Experience of Procure Wizard is desired Strong Microsoft office Skills Attention to detail Good organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise Confident communicator both written and verbally Excellent analytical and presentation skills Ability to work and think independently but also as part of a team Attributes Self-motivated, professional and positive approach Strong in building relationships and able to communicate and challenge at all levels Team player with the ability to work on own initiative Able to challenge the status quo and thinking out of the box Why you should join ARC Inspirations: We are passionate about our people and building the best teams. ‘Care’ is one of our core values, and we really care that every team member loves their job. The salary for this role is from £35,000.
