Temporary Community Caretaker – 18 hours per week
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an enthusiastic and fun group of staff working in our Halls and Centres in the Stirling area. The post will involve providing caretaking services in support of the local communities within the Stirling area. You will be working 18 hours per week Monday to Friday between the hours of 8.00am and 10.00pm on a shift rota basis. This role is paid at a Stirling Council Grade 4.
Occasional weekend working may be required. Applicants will need to be physically fit, as porterage and other heavy lifting forms a large part of the role, and be prepared at times to work outdoors in inclement weather.
Applicants must also have a current full UK driving licence. Personal protective equipment will be provided and training where necessary. Applicants will also require a basic working knowledge of IT and be willing to undertake training to allow them to utilise Stirling Council online training and human resources IT applications.
The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children. If your application is progressed after the interview, you will be asked to complete the form and have your details verified.
