About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team in primary schools in and around the Bradford area. As an HLTA, you will play a crucial role in supporting teaching and learning, working closely with teachers to deliver high-quality education to students. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide support to teachers in delivering lessons, including planning, preparation, and assessment.
2. Lead small group activities and interventions to support students' learning and development.
3. Assist with classroom management and behaviour management strategies.
4. Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
5. Support the individual needs of students, including those with special educational needs (SEN) or English as an additional language (EAL).
6. Contribute to the wider school community through involvement in extracurricular activities and events.
Requirements:
7. Relevant qualifications and experience, including a Level 4 Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
8. Experience working in primary education settings, preferably within the Bradford area.
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, staff, and parents/carers.
10. A passion for education and a commitment to supporting the holistic development of young learners.
11. Flexibility, adaptability, and a positive attitude towards working in a dynamic school environment.
12. Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain).
