Redline are currently partnering with a well-established Engineering company based in Milton Keynes, that actively promotes a collaborative work environment and are looking for likeminded individuals to be part of the dynamic engineering environment. With an ambitious growth plan that will see them add 75% to their workforce, they are now looking to hire an experienced Training Assessor to help them develop their staff. Reporting the Head of Training & Development, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional training and assessment products to ensure all workforce are fully competent, as well as the competence management system that is in line with Railway industry standards (ROGS).
In addition to this you will also be required to;
Complete necessary paperwork and maintain staff competency recording systems according to Depot Procedures and adhere to such procedures.
Review existing training programs; suggests enhancements and modifications to improve engagement, learning, and retention and/or to meet the changing needs of the organisation.
Deliver on site Induction programs for new starters.
Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments and best practices.
Assess and develop production team members and coordinate the delivery of Training and Assessments, whilst monitoring and improving performance, productivity, and quality of work.
In order to be successful in your application for this exciting role based in Milton Keynes, you will to have a minimum of C&G 7331 and NVQ3 in Training & Development and Assessor qualifications combined with the following;
External certification e.g. PTS, Manual handling etc.
Certified to train others in core trade.
Extensive knowledge and application of a wide range of teaching and assessment techniques and traditional and modern methodologies.
Strong verbal, interpersonal, ICT and written skills.
A self-starter who can work independently, likes to take the initiative and is flexible and quick-thinking.
