Administrator / Dispatch Clerk (Transport) Location: Silloth Salary: £12.00 - £12.50 per hour Contract: 6-month temporary contract with the possibility to extend Working Hours: Out of Season: Monday - Friday, 08:00 to 16:30 Leading up to Easter (Busiest Period): Some shifts may require earlier starts (06:00). Role Overview: We are seeking a reliable and proactive Transport Assistant to join our clients transport team in Silloth. You will support the Transport Coordinator in ensuring timely deliveries that meet their customers' expectations while maintaining the highest level of customer service. Key Responsibilities: Assist in coordinating deliveries to meet customer requirements. Maintain and manage business systems, with a focus on the "chasers management system," ensuring compliance with company standards. Work onsite as part of the local transport team while supporting national operations under the guidance of the Business Systems and Admin Support team. Collaborate with colleagues locally and nationally as required. Provide excellent customer service with a calm and confident telephone manner. Requirements: Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. A confident and professional telephone manner. Ability to remain calm under pressure and work effectively in a team environment.
