You will already have secured your college place and will be working within your second year of the qualification (Installation and Maintenance Electrician Level 3). You’ll be confident in how the qualification has gone so far and will be building up your portfolio.
As an Aster apprentice, you’ll be working through a structured training programme, alongside gaining on-site experience working with our in-house team of qualified and skilled Electrical Engineers.
You’ll continue attending college to develop your skills and learn all the theory elements of the role, and for the remainder of your week, you’ll be working as part of a team in our communities.
About You
You’ll be prepared to put in the commitment that an apprenticeship requires. You’ll always be seeking learning opportunities and will know that you’ll benefit from working with experienced engineers.
You’ll be confident to have a chat with our customers, showing excellent customer service skills and the willingness to help. You’ll also be able to build strong relationships with your team.
You’ll understand that college is as important as work and you’ll appreciate the time and energy that is put into all the training that’s provided.
It will be important that you can already drive and will have the ability to get yourself to and from work and college.
