Job Description
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a very busy and well established Recruitment team who fill a high volume of varied jobs across all NECSWS divisions. You will have the opportunity to gain excellent administration and business support skills, whilst also gaining a recognised Qualification, Business Administration 2.
The Recruitment Apprentice will support the Recruitment Business Partners and Onboarding specialists with a variety of administration and resourcing tasks.
We are looking for an individual who has excellent verbal and written communication skills and a focus on delivering a first-class administration service in an efficient, professional and effective manner.
Providing general administration support to the 4 Recruitment Business Partners and Onboarding team.
Tasks include:
* Reviewing candidate applications and CVS’s to assist in shortlisting the best fit candidates.
* Assisting the onboarding team with tracking new starter paperwork.
* Calling candidates to carry out screening calls.
* Using various online job boards and linkedIn to search for candidates
* Using the SmartRecruiters ATS (applicants tracking system).
* Booking interviews and meeting rooms where required. Ensuring all activity is tracked in SmartRecruiters.
* Liaising with internal hiring managers by email and phone
* Attending weekly meetings with the Recruitment team via Teams and in person as required.
The Apprentice salary is £15,000 - £16,000 per year
Qualifications
Skills required:
Act with integrity and enthusiasm – treating sensitive information confidentially
Ability to develop successful working relationships with the wider Recruitment & HR team
Confident and proactive, able to work on own initiative with support from HRBP team
Strong communication skills via Teams/telephone, face to face and written format
Attention to detail especially when working with large amounts of data/capturing and scribing meeting notes
Interest in HR & Recruitment /willingness to learn
Knowledge of O365/Teams/Word/Excel
Good level of communication, written English and drafting skills
Maths/English GCSEs
Confident communicator
Attention to detail
Organised
Self Motivated
Reliable
Have an appreciation for discretion and confidentiality
