You will lead, develop, deliver, and evaluate the provision of pharmacy services provided at the Aintree University Hospital Site and enhance the reputation of the department to deliver the right medicine at the right time for all our patients. Main duties of the job You will co-ordinate the technical operations at the Aintree Pharmacy site and deputise for the Site Director of Pharmacy. You will manage Technical Service Leads in Dispensary and Ward based services. You will plan for and resolve issues with multiple competing priorities to support patient flow and ensure care in a busy acute hospital site. You will develop and implement local policy and procedures to ensure that we adhere to relevant professional, ethical, legal and local standards. You will take overall responsibility for monitoring pharmacy performance. This will include identification, reporting, implementation and monitoring relevant KPIs. You will manage pay and non-pay budgets. You will lead on relevant projects, to manage the implementation of change and deliver the pharmacy operational services from planning to implementation, business cases and bid for funding. You will lead on Health and Safety including staff engagement and wellbeing within the Pharmacy Department.
