As a Graduate R&D Chemist, you will play a crucial role in advancing vital R&D projects to enhance the company’s product portfolio.
Graduate R&D Chemist Responsibilities
1. Contribute to R&D initiatives and small-scale production projects.
2. Collaborate with Chemists and Engineers to identify and implement product improvements.
3. Conduct in-depth research studies and troubleshoot technical procedures.
4. Drive innovation and continuous improvement in the chemistry team to enhance quality, productivity, and efficiency.
5. Analyse experimental data and compile detailed experimental reports.
6. Maintain good laboratory practices, including adherence to health and safety protocols.
Graduate R&D Chemist Requirements
1. A degree-level qualification in Chemistry, Materials Science, or Natural Science.
2. A strong interest in pursuing a career in R&D, with involvement in both hands-on development and desk-based research.
3. Interest in coating technology, with relevant knowledge or experience gained through studies or work.
4. An understanding of health and safety regulations and procedures.
5. Strong planning, organisational, and team communication skills.
6. A positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to take responsibility.
7. Flexibility and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
8. Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
