Job Description
Must be a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within a Children's Social Work team.
The team works extremely well together to ensure the safety of children under the close supervision of a supportive Team Manager.
The responsibilities will include:
1. To achieve the best possible positive outcomes for children and young people across the service.
2. To ensure that Practice Standards, Performance Indicators and statutory duties and regulations are complied with.
3. Support and direct the work of the Team and the priorities therein through a reflective and systemic approach to all work with children, young people and families.
4. To lead on the development and raising of quality in practice, setting standards and the conditions required for successful social work by supervising and managing staff, and promoting effective working relationships and communication across the service and partner agencies.
5. Take responsibility and be accountable for the practice of social workers.
6. Liaise with other professionals.
7. 37 hours per week (flexible by negotiation).
8. 3 month Temporary Contract.
9. Start date subject to DBS and reference clearance.

The successful candidate will need to hold a DipSW or equivalent, must be registered with the HCPC, have a current DBS, and be a car driver.
