St Margaret’s Hospice Care has a fantastic opportunity for a Shop Manager to join our team. This role is based in our Wiveliscombe store. You will join us on a permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £20,350.35 per annum for 30 hours per week. We are looking to recruit an experienced Shop Manager to lead our Wiveliscombe Shop. Prominent in the community and with a broad, loyal customer base, you will be responsible for the day to day running of this thriving shop located in the heart of Wiveliscombe You will work alongside experienced staff and volunteers to drive sales and maximise profit, knowing that you and your shop are making a positive difference to the lives of patients and their families across Somerset. What will you be good at? You will: Have experience within the Retail industry, ideally from a supervisory or management role; Have demonstrable excellent communication skills and the high standards of customer service; Positively demonstrate how to manage, develop and motivate a team of staff and volunteers; Be able to support the area manager with the recruitment process of shop colleagues. This role is a physically demanding position within a busy retail environment which includes the lifting of donated goods.
