Interim Finance Manager, Royston (hybrid)
9 - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
Our client, a highly successful expansive commercial entity, performing well in a difficult climate, is currently looking to recruit a finance professional who can add immediate value to the existing setup on a fixed term contract basis.
Key to the role will be providing accurate monthly and quarterly reporting to senior executives across multiple European entities. A proven track record in the following areas is also a must:
1. Managing month end close – ensuring all general ledger activities including fixed assets, accruals, prepayments and intercompany processes are timely and accurately performed.
2. Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations.
3. Preparing or managing the preparation of the statutory accounts from outsource providers.
4. Ensuring timely and accurate completion of VAT and local sales tax returns, other local government statutory and statistical reporting.
5. Preparing information packs for the external audit and managing the audit process.
6. Periodically assisting with SOX testing to ensure compliance with necessary controls.
7. Supervising two Accounting Assistants in the team.
