You must be prepared to travel as part of your daily job, whilst most of our clients are located within London, occasional travel to more remote client sites may be required. The role is hybrid so whilst not attending client site, time will be spent support our Service Desk and related activities directed by the Service Delivery Manager. The 1 st Line Support Engineer role is focused upon the day-to-day delivery of IT support services and onsite administration for OryxAlign clients which needs to be completed in an effective manner with good attention to detail, accuracy and good ticket management skills. The nature of our business requires a high level of flexibility, commonsense and initiative. Key Responsibilities Experience of hardware troubleshooting and problem solving. Ability to quickly learn new applications and technologies Able to install, configure, upgrade and relocate hardware, software and print devices. Administer backups and restores Standard business apps (Office, Adobe, etc). Network trouble shooting, general WAN/ LAN trouble shooting Good experience with standard server hardware and software. MSP Experience Strong communication and customer service skills.
