Supervisor
Dartford
Full Time Permanent. 42.5 hours per week (8-5 Monday to Friday)
Salary up to £41,000 per annum .
We are the largest provider of repairs and maintenance, and regeneration services across the UK. Mears provide tailored rapid-response and planned maintenance services through partnering arrangements with more than 70 local authorities, Arm’s Length Management Organisations and Housing Associations.
Supervisor Duties
1. Manage operative performance/ Productivity to achieve KPI’s.
2. Manage site health and safety through site packs, inspections, and monthly compliance.
3. Respond to internal and external queries in timely manner.
4. Manage fleet for assigned Direct Labour Operatives.
5. Produce Scope of works where not supplied / Variations.
6. Pre-start, Mid, and Post work inspections.
7. Assess completed orders (desktop) ensuring sufficient photographic evidence and notes to support commercial invoicing.
8. Subcontractor management, ensuring targets and quality are met.
9. Diary monitoring for correct allocation of skills and time frame
10. Appraisals for assigned operatives.
11. Attend client meetings as required.
12. Undertake interviews for new operatives/ liaise Mear’s recruitment.
13. Induction of new operatives
14. Regular site attendance
15. Manage Direct Labour Operatives H.R. issues with assistance from Meras H.R. department.
16. all other non-specified duties associated with a supervisor role.
Role Criteria:
17. Experience in Building Maintenance
18. Worked within a supervisory role
19. Line Management Experience
20. Good Customer Service Skills
21. UK full driving license

To drive a Mears vehicle, you must be aged over 21 have held your licence over 3 months and have less than 9 points.
