We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Partner to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced FMCG business by delivering a wide range of HR services and supporting managers and employees across the organisation.
Responsibilities
Employee Relations
1. Act as the first point of contact for employee and manager queries, providing expert advice on HR policies and employment legislation.
2. Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, including disciplinary, grievance, and performance management cases.
3. Promote a positive employee experience by fostering a culture of engagement and inclusivity.
Recruitment & Talent Management
1. Support end-to-end recruitment processes, including drafting job descriptions, screening candidates, and onboarding new hires.
2. Collaborate with hiring managers to identify talent needs and deliver effective workforce planning.
3. Lead initiatives to enhance employee retention, career development, and succession planning.
Learning & Development
1. Identify training needs in collaboration with managers and coordinate development programs to support employee growth.
2. Facilitate workshops, training sessions, or coaching programs to enhance management capability.
HR Projects
1. Lead or support HR initiatives, such as implementing our new HRIS (BambooHR) engagement surveys, or organisational change projects.
2. Provide insights through HR metrics and data analysis to inform decision-making and strategic planning.
General HR Support
1. Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, updating policies and procedures as required.
2. Provide guidance on the application of HR policies, ensuring consistency and fairness in decision-making.
3. Maintain accurate HR records and systems, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
4. Support payroll and benefits administration in collaboration with the relevant teams.
Person Specification
1. Proven experience in an HR generalist role, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
2. Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
4. Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills with a pragmatic and solutions-focused approach.
5. Experience managing HR projects or change initiatives.
6. Full time, 12 month contract
7. Onsite at Newbury with visits to other sites.
