Megastore Brand Manger Job brief We are looking for a dynamic and passionate leader to take the Gateshead Megastore to the next level. As the Megastore Brand Manager, you will strategically drive the positioning of Daisy Chain’s brand by crafting an exceptional customer experience that embodies the Megastore’s ethos. Your role will focus on creating an impactful customer experience through innovative store design, visually stunning merchandising and tailored promotions that effectively communicate Daisy Chain’s mission of supporting neurodivergent individuals. You will lead and manage stock selection, ensuring it aligns with the store’s branding and meets customer expectations. Focus on customer engagement, impactful store design/layout, and visual merchandising to tailored promotions that communicate Daisy Chain’s mission of supporting neurodivergent individuals. Lead and manage stock selection to ensure it aligns with the store’s branding and customer expectations, helping to increase footfall, boost quality, and foster brand loyalty. Maximise efficiency of shop floor and warehouse activities, including the management and flow of stock items, in-store promotions, overseeing till operations, and accurate recording of Gift Aid and other stock management tasks. Ensure agreed income targets are met and continuously strive for growth. Regularly review the effectiveness of retail operations and recommend and implement changes to maximise profitability. Store Performance and Management: Work with the Retail Business Development Manager and management team to prioritise workloads and ensure resources are utilised effectively. Collaborate with the Retail Business Development Manager to drive performance and growth across Daisy Chain’s retail operations, focusing on sales, operational efficiency, and long-term strategic goals. Maintain up-to-date policies and procedures, ensuring their consistent application across the store. Stay informed on retail market trends and the activities of other charitable organisations to identify market gaps and new opportunities. Ensure the smooth operation of the Megastore, providing support to staff and volunteers. Collaborate with Daisy Chain’s internal marketing team to maximise footfall and enhance the store's brand presence. Store Operations: Manage and participate in all shop floor activities, including stock management, replenishment, merchandising, and in-store promotions. Oversee till operations and ensure accurate recording of Gift Aid and stock management. Foster a culture of exceptional customer service, motivating staff and volunteers to deliver the best service and maintain a positive reputation. Collaborate with the Retail Management team to implement an effective pricing strategy, maximising income from all donated goods. Effectively manage team performance through the implementation of KPIs, addressing any underperformance with support and training. Ensure Daisy Chain acts in line with waste management and environmental responsibilities, maximising income from non-saleable donations. Key Holder Responsibilities: Responsible for opening and closing the Megastore, ensuring it is secure at all times.
