Gwent Police are currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated Facilities Manager to work within a busy and dynamic Estates Team. The post holder will be required to provide building management, maintenance and facilities management service to key premises within the Gwent Police Estate. This will include the new HQ Premises, Training Premises, and selected other corporate premises.
To implement & manage performance related plans to deliver the Hard FM Building management, Health and Safety and Legal Compliance works on Asbestos, Legionella, Fire Safety, Electrical Safety, Building Services and all other premises legislation in line with the dept strategy.
To actively work and engage with collaboration partners and framework contractors in accordance with the agreement documents to deliver excellent service to the Force.
Build relationships and promote the profile of Estates to internal customers through professional advice and excellent service delivery.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong and experienced FM to grow in a fast pace Blue Light environment which has an exciting estates development plan. For the right person there are opportunities to grow and develop your FM skills and grow within the organisation.
