The project has started construction and is now seeking private investment. When completed, it will provide dependable electricity to 6 million homes for 60 years, which along with renewables, will support Britain to achieve Net Zero by 2050. We have a fantastic opportunity for a Procurement Manager. Our teams are set up to work flexibly, with a hybrid working approach between our offices and your home. We provide a full suite of IT equipment to ensure that our employees can work from home comfortably and effectively.The Role The Procurement Manager will lead the procurement activities across a range of high-value, high-impact packages, ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and sustainable supply chains. You will play a pivotal role in overseeing supplier relationships, managing tender processes, and working collaboratively across teams to ensure project success. The Skills Strong attention to detail and accuracyAble to demonstrate a noteworthy track of successful procurementsStrong adherence to governance processesGood negotiating, influencing and communication skillsFamiliarity with most common forms of contract within the power construction industry and major projects (NEC & FIDIC)Strong inter-personal skills and able to work within a multi-disciplinary teamStrong oral and written presentation skillsDemonstrable understanding of supply chain requirements within a regulated environmentDemonstrable understanding of collaborative working with internal and external stakeholders.
