Hourly Rate: £15.38 - £16.64
Salary: £28080.15 - £30379.65 per annum ( Term Time Only)
Contract Duration: Temporary until 17/08/2025
This is a 39 week post plus 2 weeks, working hours will be during school term only, the salary will be pro-rated accordingly. Please note the salary advertised is full time (35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year).
Role Purpose
Hawick High School are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the Youth Work team. The successful candidate will strive to provide exciting and challenging developmental opportunities for young people. Providing supportive environment where young people want to learn to discover exciting new ideas and activities, they are unlikely to experience anywhere else: experiment, make mistakes and thrive: treat themselves and others with kindness and respect be motivated.
Essential
A qualification in ACT foundation, ACT Youth Work 1 or First Steps training or other equivalent part-time qualification Experience of planning delivery and evaluating learning activities for young people.
