Location: Belfast (Hybrid working)
Your role
We are looking for a Technical Service Engineer Expert to join one of our 3rd line infrastructure engineering teams. Your role will involve working within a very dynamic operations team who support Linux, storage, virtualisation and backup environments. The role requires a self-motivated person, with strong inter-personal skills, who can communicate effectively with people at all levels. This team is working with a long-standing client who is in embarking on a major technical refresh.
Your experience
Essential Skills
1. Extensive experience supporting Linux
2. Proven record of leading Major Incident/Problem/Change Management
3. Proven ability as an SME in a range of systems
4. Experience of working within medium/large sized project transitions
5. Experience in managing relationships with key internal and external technical stakeholders
Desirable:
6. Backup & Storage technologies
7. VMware
8. Batch Scheduling
