Working in conjunction with our Andover-based client to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant due to growth within their busy Finance Team.
This is a varied finance role working in a busy team environment with hard deadlines whilst maintaining consistent high professional standards.
What will the Accounts Assistant role involve?
1. Reconciliation of key balance sheet accounts; preparation of monthly and quarterly accounts; together with annual financial accounts and budgets/forecasts.
2. Additionally, this role will provide cover for the Senior Management Accountant therefore previous accountancy experience is required.
3. Monthly supplier report reconciliations.
4. Monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
5. Assisting Senior Management Accountant with budget preparation and liaising with budget holders in line with budget timeline.
6. Assisting with variance analysis on quarterly management accounts pack and liaising with budget holders for cost centre reporting, quarterly.
7. Purchase Ledger payment runs weekly and month end.
8. Processing of colleague expenses in a timely manner.
Suitable Candidate for the Accounts Assistant vacancy:
1. Qualified either to AAT Level 3 or QBE.
2. GCSE or equivalent in Mathematics and English minimum grade C.
