You will be part of the Library Development Team, assisting the team in shaping the future of the service and reporting directly to the Library Development Manager. Your focus is to provide administrative support in digital engagement and help maintain the service's digital presence. There will also be ongoing opportunities to create digital content using your initiative and creativity.
This is a permanent 18.5 hours per week post. It is a hybrid role that enables flexible home working; the office base, currently Huntingdon Library, is subject to negotiation.

What will you be doing?
You will design and draft the library service e-newsletter for monthly distribution to library users, sourcing content from colleagues. You will co-ordinate content and posts on library social media platforms and other digital platforms such as YouTube. You will help cascade information to our libraries Digital Champions Network including coordinating meetings, taking minutes and ensuring key messages reach every library.
You will have responsibility for providing administrative support to the Library Development Team in relation to digital content. You will assist in the delivery and development of the digital library service, using information systems to generate reports and track statistics as required.
You will have regular opportunities to show your creative flair, by delivering (or assisting in) digital content, including graphic design, video and photography.
About you
This part-time post will suit a self-motivated, flexible, creative individual with experience of developing and utilising digital platforms and resources.
