Location: This role is located at our Manchester office and requires a minimum of 40% on-site attendance per week due to the nature of the role.
Salary: £34,075 - £38,718

We're looking to hire a network engineer in our Manchester office, joining our very busy Network Operation Support team and helping to maintaining our operations, supporting around 5000 staff members on a day-to-day basis.

We're looking for people with at least a theoretical understanding of network engineering and security who can problem solve, take ownership of issues and see them through to resolution.
For an idea of the sorts of knowledge we're looking for, here's some examples:
• Cisco Hardware e.g. Core Switches and Access Switches
• Firewalls - e.g. Checkpoint, Cisco ASA, VMware Distributed Firewalls
• LAN / WAN technologies
Bear in mind you don't need to be familiar with all of these technologies to be suitable for the role.
