EOC Group, a family-owned chemical product manufacturer headquartered in Belgium with seven production branches across Europe, is actively seeking a Sales Manager Adhesives for the UK market. Specializing in adhesives, compounds, latices, emulsions, and more, EOC prioritizes sustainable entrepreneurship and delivers high-quality products while ensuring exceptional customer service.
Your Responsibilities
* Support the Sales Director in achieving sales targets and market expansion.
* Research, identify, and evaluate potential business opportunities within existing and new markets.
* Develop and execute strategic business development plans to drive growth and revenue.
* Promote and sell adhesives (Hotmelt and Water-based) to end customers and distributors.
* Identify and prioritize new business opportunities in the UK market, especially in sectors like paperboard, paper converting, and the tissue industry.
* Collaborate closely with the local EOC production plant to ensure alignment and efficiency.
* Monitor market trends, provide strategic insights, and develop tailored sales strategies.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, major groups, and new clients.
* Drive product development initiatives in collaboration with the R&D team.
* Prioritize safety, environmental, and sustainability considerations in all business development efforts.
* Manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to meet sales targets.
* Travel within the region (60% of the time).

* A passion for technical products, even without a formal chemistry background, and a strong affinity for technical industries.
* Experience working with key accounts and managing large-scale projects.
* Exceptional networking and communication skills to establish long-lasting relationships in a B2B environment.
* Resilience and motivation to overcome challenges and stay focused.
Qualifications:
* Master’s degree in business development or equivalent through a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
* Proven track record in a similar role, demonstrating substantial business growth.
* Experience in the adhesive industry or related chemistry/manufacturing sectors is highly desirable.
* Fluent in English; French and German are requirements. Proficiency in other languages is a plus.
* Enthusiastic, hands-on mentality with a passion for exploring new markets.
* Willingness to travel extensively within Europe, up to 50% of the time.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work semi-remotely with frequent visits to the HQ and R&D lab.
