As a Medical Sales Representative (Endoscopy), you will represent Stryker by assisting with the selling, promoting, and marketing of our products to a sophisticated audience of surgeons and healthcare professionals. You will participate in customer education in the field, supporting the sales manager to increase customer engagement and achieve commercial success. This role is field-based, requiring travel and work at hospital accounts within your territory 80% of the time.
Responsibilities
1. Develop and maintain excellent relationships with new and existing customers, driving recurrent sales and growth.
2. Identify new sales opportunities with the Regional Sales Manager, planning and executing quarterly and annual business plans, identifying revenue streams, and driving acquisitions.
3. Deliver training sessions and workshops on our Communications products to nurses, healthcare practitioners, and surgeons.
4. Provide surgeons and operating room staff with training and support on the use of Stryker’s Endoscopy Communication products.
5. Record customer details and maintain a basic business plan with daily, weekly, and monthly goals, prioritising resources to grow your territory effectively.
6. Attend surgeon training meetings, trade shows, and other events such as educational conferences to promote our products.
7. Achieve financial targets for your territory through effective customer management and new business development.
What you need
1. Demonstrated sales experience, preferably within Medical Devices.
2. A valid driver’s license.
3. Ability to build rapport and maintain relationships with clients.
4. Comfort working in emergency/operating room environments; prior experience not necessary.
5. Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
6. Strong team player with the ability to work harmoniously with diverse colleagues.
7. Experience using sales CRM systems.
8. Experience in Capital sales is preferred.
