Operating from Rainham and travelling throughout the UK, you will be required to operate as part of a team, working alongside other Engineers, fulfilling works for major oil companies & independent customers in the Forecourt Services division. You will be required to contribute to ensuring systems are working correctly, identify root causes, and provide customers with long-term solutions.
The duties of this position include a high degree of manual work required when cleaning site drainage and tank systems to ensure compliance with EA Guidelines/regulations.
More about the role:
* Operate as part of a one/two person team to perform and deliver site tankering works, including jetting, drain cleaning, interceptor cleaning and servicing, and reactive works on petrol filling stations and distribution centres.
* Respond and react to call outs for critical issues.
* Carry out Near miss & potential incident reporting. In-house training will be provided.
* Liaise with customers on site to discuss ongoing works and additional services of the Company.
* Maintain a clean vehicle and ensure all equipment, tools, PPE, and other work items are in good order, repair, and available for use at all times. Any damage should be reported to supervision immediately.
* Complete all works paperwork and submit it in a timely manner to divisional supervision.
* Liaise with supervision regarding all works and suggest improvements or opportunities.
* Perform any other duties you are qualified for and capable of undertaking.
