This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for a band 7 Operational Team Manager to join Central Home Based Treatment Team based at the Avondale Unit Royal Preston Hospital.
The Central Home Based Treatment Team offer 24 hour support to service users, and their families/carers, who are suffering from mental health concerns that would otherwise require admission to an acute inpatient environment. There is a strong focus on preventative interventions, effective risk management and the recovery model to provide quality care in a community setting.

Experience of working within the Urgent Care pathway is desirable.
The successful applicant will be experienced, dynamic, forward thinking, motivated, and have the ability to successfully work as part of a team and in partnership with local services.
The successful applicant will be responsible for providing leadership to the team along with leadership and direction to the clinical leads in the team. The successful applicant must demonstrate leadership styles and qualities that resemble our Trust values and the ability to embrace change and positively influence change to meet the needs of the service, service users, their families and carers.
• To support the Urgent care pathway and coordinate the development of your identified function.
• To ensure that the service offers a team approach and delivers a rapid, intensive assessment and intervention service in order to meet the needs of those people experiencing a mental health issue.
• To supervise and evaluate the team.
• The post holder will assist with the responsibilities for all aspects of the service.
• Be responsible for the day to day management of the team ensuring a responsive and effective service is offered 24 hours per day 7 days per week.
• To organise and carry out Management and clinical supervision for all staff where appropriate.
