Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Dunfermline, is currently looking to recruit a Sales Assistant for a 3 month contract on a rate of £12/hour PAYE. The working hours per week for this role is 22.5 hours/3 days.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide customers with excellent service and the best in-store experience to help maximise sales and the profitability of the shop.
2. Manage stock processes to ensure correct density levels, processing to agreed quality and rotation so that stock moves quickly.
3. Help to maintain a high standard of visual merchandising, display and housekeeping standards throughout the shop.
4. Ensure the smooth operational running of the shop.
5. Serve customers at the till ensuring they receive an easy, seamless and personalised experience.
6. Be a brand ambassador for the organisation promoting and bringing to life the communication of key activities and messages to the customer.
7. Open and close the shop when required and complete day end cashing up.
Essential Skills:
1. Has a passion for second hand clothing, with a strong interest in fashion and knowledge of brands.
2. Enjoys collaborating and working as part of a team.
3. Has stamina to work in an incredibly busy retail store.
4. Has a good track record of reliability in previous posts, with previous customer service experience.
5. Excellent communication skills.
6. A creative thinker, who uses their initiative to find the best possible solution in every situation.
7. Willing to be flexible with working hours and days.
