With one of the largest teams of liability experts in the world, Sedgwick supports and resolves property, general, auto, product and professional liability claims, and helps our clients maintain brand protection in times of crisis. Utilities is a dynamic, exciting and growing sector of the Sedgwick's liability business and, reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be home based, but will work within a team, undertaking visits, dealing with your own claims, working on ongoing and new major, multi-party incidents and being an active member of the out of hours rota. The work mainly involves responding to burst water mains, but can also include fires, electrical failures or sewage escape, often involving multiple claimants. Due to the unpredictable and urgent nature of the work, you will need to be highly motivated, well organised, flexible in your approach, with the ability to handle stressful situations. You will need a full and clean driving licence.
