To provide our clients with first-class service in regards to all aspects of end-to-end financial due diligence, financial modelling and reporting accountant engagements, with clients drawn from a variety of different industry sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
Client (transaction services) work
1. Analysis of historical and forecast income statements, cash flow statements and balance sheets.
2. Sensitivity analysis considering potential upside and downside scenarios to the forecasts.
3. Reporting of potential key issues for our client including identification of risks and making relevant recommendations to address these.
4. Analysing, reviewing and commenting on historical and forecast trading results and trends.
5. Taking ownership for management and reporting on smaller engagements, and managing discreet areas/sections of work on larger engagements.
6. Production of written reports within agreed timescales.
7. Day to day contact for the client during the assignment.
8. Dealing with client take on processes.
9. Billing and WIP management.
10. To have a broader perspective of potential issues encountered when managing diverse teams and the strategies to overcome them; have a clear understanding of the firm’s commitment to creating a more inclusive culture.
Supervision
1. Delegation and oversight of work to junior staff, reviewing and challenging their output.
2. On the job training for junior staff on a one-to-one basis.
3. Dealing with staff questions.
Business development and marketing
1. Maintenance of team credentials database.
2. Assistance in preparing for work pitches.
3. Assistance in the development and execution of business development initiatives.
4. Networking and maintaining relationships.
Cross-selling and liaison with other departments
1. Often working alongside colleagues from other departments.
2. Maintaining cross-divisional contacts.
3. Delivering results and meeting client expectations.
4. Planning and organising.
5. Following instructions and procedures.
6. Writing and reporting.
7. Analysing.
8. Presenting and communicating information.
9. Coping with pressures and setbacks.
Qualifications
Education
1. Educated to degree level or equivalent.
2. A relevant professional qualification, for example Chartered Accountant, Chartered Financial Analyst or Corporate Finance Diploma is highly desirable although not essential.
