About Us: Kingsfield Care Home is a welcoming and vibrant care home dedicated to providing the highest standard of care to our residents. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Operative to join our team.
Job Description:
As a Maintenance Operative at Kingsfield Care Home, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our home. Your duties will include:
* Stripping and putting up wallpaper
* Painting and decorating
* Performing general maintenance and repair tasks
* Changing lightbulbs
* Sweeping the car park
* General gardening and outdoor maintenance
* Climbing ladders and performing tasks at various heights
* Ensuring all areas are well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing
* Auditing and Health & safety Checks
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar maintenance role
* Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check (we will cover the cost)
* Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics
* Ability to perform physical tasks and work at heights
* Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
* A proactive and problem-solving attitude
