The Role
Are you looking for a career where you can have a meaningful impact every single day? We're inviting caring individuals to join our team and support two incredible gentlemen, aged 20 to 40, who live in a two-bedroom house. These gentlemen lead engaging lives and with your support, they can continue to thrive!
In this role, you'll go beyond offering support, you'll become an integral part of their daily lives. Both gentlemen have lively personalities and exciting interests, including their love for football (they're devoted Chelsea and Arsenal fans), music, dancing, and attending musical theatre clubs. They also visit Kids in Action three times a week. As a support worker, you'll share in these passions and interests.
Your responsibilities will include helping the gentlemen maintain strong, meaningful relationships with their families and friends. These relationships are incredibly important to them and include regular family visits and even holidays together.
In your role, you'll focus on offering support and encouragement. This includes gentle prompting for personal care, as well as full support with cooking, menu planning, and helping to build their skills in the kitchen. You'll also assist with administering medication, including oral medication, creams, and inhalers.
Join the “Made with Care” movement and become part of a team that's committed to creating a better future for those we support. Apply today and take the first step in a rewarding career.
