We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Lead for Media Studies who will share our determination to transform the life chances of our pupils. Queensbridge School is an 11 - 16 comprehensive, friendly and oversubscribed all-ability Foundation School of 900 pupils.
Students are taught by an experienced and passionate team of specialist teachers. We are looking to appoint a new member of the English team who will be the Lead Teacher for the Media Studies Course and inspire, motivate, and support our students to reach and exceed their potential; whilst developing knowledge, skills, and empathy to take into the next stage of their lives. Media Studies is a popular option subject at GCSE and students consistently achieve excellent results. The successful candidate will teach GCSE Media Studies and be, or have the potential to be, an outstanding teacher. The ability to teach English to a high standard at KS3 is essential, but experience of teaching KS4 English would be an advantage.
