Mental Health Teaching Assistant required for a SEMH provision based in Scarborough due to start immediately full time on a permanent basis. About the role As the Mental Health Teaching Assistant you will work alongside the class teacher supporting the students in the classroom with their learning and behaviour. In most cases, you will be allocated a child that you will take on the role of key worker, meaning that you will be the person who establishes the strongest relationship with this young person as well as being responsible for assisting with multidisciplinary meetings and you will also be the main line of communication from school to home to encourage attendance and family involvement. The Mental Health Teaching Assistant role is due to start immediately, full time during term time only.
