About the role:
The Quality Associate supports the Quality Department in maintaining compliance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) guidelines to ensure the quality, safety, and integrity of products throughout the Healthxchange supply chain.
Reporting to the Head of Quality, the Quality Associate will be responsible for the maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) including document management control covering CAPA, Deviations, and Change Controls. This role will also have specific accountability towards the validation of Healthxchange customers, suppliers, and vendors.
Responsibilities:
* Support the implementation & maintenance of Healthxchange’s commitment towards quality in compliance with GDP, GMP, GxP, and regulatory standards.
* Provide daily support towards Healthxchange’s operations licenses at all sites; namely WDA(h) & MS licenses.
* Assist the Quality Team in implementing and maintaining Good Distribution Practice (GDP) standards across all Healthxchange operations.
* Maintenance and management of Quality Meeting notes and actions.
* Oversight and maintenance of our QA Management System (QMS) including document control, change control, validation management (systems and plant (PPM)), deviation management, CAPA (Corrective and Preventative Action) programs, complaint management, and standard operating procedure (SOP) management and oversight.
* Document and report any deviations or issues identified during daily tasks.
* Assist in the development and maintenance of procedures, protocols, and departmental documentation.
* Support customer and vendor approval processes.
* Partake and support internal and external audits to assess compliance while continually removing risk from Healthxchange operations.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance QA systems, processes, and performance.
* Support timely resolution of QA-related issues and deviations to minimize risk to customers, patients, and the Healthxchange supply chain of products.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in a related field (Quality Assurance, Life Sciences, etc.).
* Minimum of 12 months experience in a QA role preferably in the pharmaceutical or medical device global supply chain industry.
* Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and regulations (GDP, GMP, GxP).
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple cross-functional departments.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
