As Community Volunteer Officer, you will support all volunteer activities and deliver focused growth projects of Community First Aid Networks for your district. You will provide critical day-to-day support to the district leadership teams and be customer-focused, passionate about service delivery, and keen to support volunteer best practices and standards.
This role is district-based, and travel will be required across your district.

About You:
* Hold an NVQ level 4 equivalent in project management, business management, or volunteer management, or have gained equivalent on-the-job experience.
* Have experience working with volunteer groups.
* Ability to organise and facilitate workshops and community sessions.
* You will be confident in public speaking and presenting ideas and information both digitally and face-to-face.
About The Role:
Working with volunteer leaders across the District, and with the support of your regional line manager, you will operationalise the priorities in the District Plan which will include objectives to:
* Develop a compelling community education programme to build the public’s first aid skills.
* Reach young people locally providing training and development opportunities.
* Draw supporters and donors to our cause with compelling local fundraising asks.
* Build awareness of our activities amongst the public, partner agencies, and senior stakeholders.
* Ensure St John has impact in the communities that need it most through outreach programmes like Young Responders or Nighttime Economy.
* Engage St John alumni and further the cause of the Priory of England and the Islands as part of the international St John.
