Proxima, part of the global consulting firm Bain & Company, offers a great opportunity for a Resource Coordinator based in our Chicago office on a hybrid basis. You will be central to the business, working closely with our offices in Chicago, London, Leeds, Cardiff, and Dusseldorf.

Responsibilities of the Resource Coordinator
You will assist the Procurement Operations Manager in allocating resources to client projects in the US and Europe. You will act as a second point of contact for the Procurement Operations Manager, advising on resource availability and updating resource requirements in the system.
1. Input resource forecasts for pipeline deals into the resourcing system.
2. Engage with client-facing consultants to discuss resource plans and client allocations via meetings.
3. Collaborate with client management to ensure sales data accuracy.
4. Manage system updates, including absence, new starters, and resourcing requirements to maintain capacity/utilization reporting accuracy.
5. Monitor engagement resource investment versus forecast, client downtime, and internal time investment, escalating anomalies.
6. Perform audits to ensure resource forecast data accuracy and governance.
7. Track consultant time on engagement and support rotational planning activities.
8. Coordinate operational review activities, including recording notes and progressing actions.
9. Conduct bespoke data analysis from resourcing and sales tools as needed.
10. Support general resource solutioning.
Who we’re looking for:
* A self-starter with a proactive approach to problem solving.
* Proficient in distilling key points from meetings and emails into actionable tasks.
* Confident in building relationships with senior client managers.
* Ability to analyze data at an intermediate level in MS Excel.
* Knowledge of NetSuite is preferable or the ability to learn new systems.
