We are looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Leader to create and implement comprehensive recruitment strategies within the Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) business.
BDS has an incredible opportunity to lead Global Talent Acquisition (GTA) for our business of 18,000+ people across 20+ sites. The Senior Leader for BDS GTA leads a team of Talent Acquisition professionals supporting BDS hiring leaders and candidates in their mission to defend our nation, deter threats, deliver actionable intelligence, and send astronauts to the moon and beyond!
In this position, you will collaborate with business leaders to create and implement recruitment strategies that drive our business forward. The hiring team is flexible regarding various Boeing locations for this role. They have a preference for the following locations: El Segundo, CA; Huntington Beach, CA; Long Beach, CA; Ridley Park, PA; Berkeley, MO; Hazelwood, MO; Oklahoma City, OK; Huntsville, AL; San Antonio, TX; or Mesa, AZ. Additionally, the team is open to considering these locations: Seal Beach, CA; Seattle, WA; Renton, WA; Everett, WA; Tukwila, WA; Arlington, VA; Plano, TX; Chicago, IL; or North Charleston, SC.
Position Responsibilities:
1. Build, lead, coach, and develop a team of exceptional Recruiting Managers and Recruiters.
2. Create and implement strategies to identify, attract, and hire candidates with active security clearances.
3. Create and maintain trust with internal partners by consistently delivering results against the organization’s hiring plan.
4. Leverage data and analytics to drive team strategy and efficiencies.
5. Partner with key partners to understand the hiring forecast and execute against the workforce plan.
6. Seek continuous improvement to processes impacting candidate, hiring leader, and recruiter experiences.
7. Model the Boeing Values; promote diversity and inclusion and ensure all team members feel engaged, motivated, developed and recognized.
8. Partner closely with GTA Leaders and Executives, Total Rewards, Human Resources, People Analytics, Recruitment Advertising and Communications to build the right infrastructure to support our recruiter and management teams.
9. Create a culture of listening, speaking up and providing feedback across the team.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
1. 10+ years of successful recruiting experience.
2. 5+ years of experience managing direct reports.
3. 5+ years of experience working in talent acquisition in US and multi-national companies.
4. 5+ years of experience in influencing and building strong relationships with stakeholders and senior leaders across functions and/or programs.
5. 5+ years of experience collecting and analyzing data from multiple sources, as well as interpreting data and presenting analysis and recommendations to management.
6. 5+ years of experience with strategic sourcing.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
1. Bachelor’s degree or higher.
2. Current US Secret or higher clearance.
3. 5+ years of experience recruiting in a corporate environment.
4. 1+ years of experience with Workday.
5. Experience in TA in the aerospace and/or defense industry.
6. Exceptional influencing skills and ability to guide decisions.
7. Experience solving complex problems, designing creative hiring strategies and driving significant value into the organization.
8. Experience with successful industry practices, key performance indicators and a track record of achieving team hiring goals.
9. Demonstration of strong business acumen.
10. Effective coaching skills.
11. Experience working and excelling in a fast-paced, variable environment.
12. Experience using Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) tools (i.e. Avature, Sourcepoint, etc.).

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $149,600 - $232,200.
