With solid and supportive private equity backing, 365 has recently completed a number of strategic acquisitions. Two of these, Spoonfed and Kafoodle, are UK based SaaS providers to the food service industry.
The role is reporting to the Executive VP of Sales (UK & Europe); this exciting new role will drive and oversee the growth of all 365 Group solutions in the UK market.
Maximizing the strengths in the synergies across the 365 Group offerings and focusing on building strong client relationships with Food Service operators, this role will develop and execute sales plans, managing the UK sales team to drive sales performance.
Responsibilities
Leadership, Management and Accountability
1. Leading and motivating sales and team to achieve high performance by fostering a positive, collaborative and accountable culture
2. Managing sales team performance - communicating expectations, providing feedback/coaching and appraising
3. Working with HR on sales team recruitment and making hiring recommendations
4. Onboarding, training, and developing new hires and direct reports
5. Meeting/exceeding monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets
6. Maintaining high level of compliance and co-operation with operational and finance teams and related processes, to facilitate excellence in client onboarding
7. Working closely with operational and logistics teams to ensure the right solutions are available in the right locations and the right times.
8. Acting as a “player/coach” while leading the sales team by example
9. Main Point of Contact for major accounts and clients
10. Travelling to key account and prospect meetings
11. Planning and participating in industry trade shows and events
12. Building and maintaining long-term relationships and partnerships with clients through providing first class customer service
13. Working with the marketing team to optimize quality lead generation
Strategic Planning
1. Developing strategies and tactics to increase market share within both existing and new clients and markets
2. Setting annual and quarterly sales quotas, territories, plans and strategies to meet company growth goals
3. Understanding client/prospect pain points and working with product teams to communicate related needs
4. Understanding competitive offerings and optimizing strategies to win business
5. Timely and accurate submission of forecasts, budgets, and other required reporting
6. Reviewing sales data to identify successful trends and improving sales and marketing methods
7. Additional duties as required
Requirements
1. High Energy, self-motivated, strong ethics, professionalism, and responsiveness
2. Several years of previous success in building, motivating and managing a high performing sales/account management team
3. Strong sales prospecting and closing skills
4. High degree of IT proficiency, particularly MS Office and CRM
5. Experience in technology sales – retail, catering, hospitality, a distinct advantage
6. Capacity to assimilate and present several different solutions, and their key benefits, while managing technical sales resources, efficiently
7. Knowledge of, and network in, the Food Service Management market, particularly helpful
8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a persuasive negotiator
9. Excellent time management and planning skills
10. Strong commercial and financial acumen with a problem-solving attitude
11. A full driving licence and the ability to travel
12. University degree preferred but not essential for exceptional candidate
