We are looking to appoint an experienced, professional and caring Day Senior Co-ordinator in Mapleton Road care home. The person will need to have CQC experience and knowledge and be reliable, dynamic, full of initiative, vibrant, trustworthy with a passion to care for our elderly residents. Location: Mapleton Road, Chingford - Care home for older people with physical and sensory disabilities, cognitive impairment and people living with dementia All services are inspected by the Care Quality Commission and rated GOOD, but we are aspiring to be Outstanding. Working Pattern: Working between 7:00am and 9:30pm, including weekends and bank holidays working as required. >> Click here to download the Role Profile Key Responsibilities: To manage a team of staff providing high quality and innovative person-centred care. To provide direct support to residents with a range of complex needs, in the residential setting and in the community To fulfil the responsibility of a Day Senior Co-ordinator in accordance with the National Care Standards Act 2000. To provide our residents who have a diagnosis of Dementia/Mental Health needs with a high standard of support and care in all aspects of their daily lives. To respond to the needs as identified in their individual service user care plan. To provide services, which will promote independence and enhance their quality of life. Support and assist Residents in their personal care, respecting their privacy and dignity at all times. Qualifications and Requirements: Applicants should have minimum relevant care qualification, such as NVQ Level 3, QCF and sound IT skills. The ability to demonstrate a caring attitude and key skills such as empathy, respect, dignity are essential, as is a willingness to learn.
