Community Integrated Care is one of the UK’s largest health and social care charities. We work hard to enrich the lives of the people we support with many different care needs. It’s exciting and rewarding work, and we’re full of pride and passion for what we do.
Since the early days, we’ve grown to provide many innovative and bespoke care services to thousands of people across England and Scotland. We want to provide support based on the principles of choice, dignity and respect. This resonates in our vision of ‘Your Life, Your Choice’ and our strategy ‘Best Lives Possible’.
We have strong values and we’re proud to pioneer new ways of delivering social care to stand out in our sector. In the past two years, we have won or made the shortlist for over national and regional awards!
We are also focused on our people. Our Support Workers are dedicated and passionate about going ‘the extra mile’ for the people we support. In return, we go the extra mile for them by investing in pay, recognition, wellbeing and continued professional and personal development. We will provide you with all the training, support and personal protective equipment you need in your role and will help you develop, should you decide you want to develop your career with us. Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:
The people we support at this service need a team who can support them with their day to day lives, including support with medication, moving & positioning, eating & drinking, personal care, communication, and anything else they need. They all mobilise using wheelchairs, so they need support from you with moving around.
Their home has a communal garden and two communal lounges, which everyone makes use of. They have a big swing in the garden, everyone loves to use it and thinks its very funny. They also have a sensory room which is very relaxing and they all like to spend time in there.
What is important to them
They all get along with each other really well and enjoy spending time together.
They have a lot of different interests such as going to the café for coffee and cake, going to the cinema, oceanarium, long walks along the beach, going out for dinner and much more.
They often like to use their cars to go out and about so being a driver with a full UK licence is essential.
