Job Description:
The role
Provides a wide range of interesting work for someone with a solid personal tax background in a friendly and supportive environment.
About you
Candidates must be proactive, resilient and technically capable, with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills. They should be innovative with vision, creativity and flair. They should possess the confidence and professionalism to establish credibility at all levels, be commercially minded and have a clear perception of client requirements. The position will require a high level of teamwork and commitment, with the ability to manage deadlines and run multiple projects concurrently.
Candidates will require recent practical experience of running a personal tax portfolio and providing tax advice to a wider range of clients, with a detailed and up to date working knowledge of personal tax issues a given. Whilst technical skills are obviously important, this position also requires a team-orientated and flexible personality, alongside the experience of organising the delivery of tax work, problem solving and the ability to use their own initiative.
Candidates must be professionally qualified (CTA, ATT, ACA/ACCA, STEP or equivalent) with relevant experience.
The team
The Tax Services Group (TSG) consists of nearly 60 employees spread over four UK offices (Bristol, Bournemouth, High Wycombe, and Peterborough). The team delivers exceptional quality compliance and advisory services to a wide range of high net worth private clients, these include those with UK and offshore interests, property owners, business owners, partnerships and trusts.
Reward and benefits
1. A 35 hour working week with a hybrid working policy with the flexibility to work from home for up to three days per week (our core hours are 10-4).
2. Excellent benefits including contributory pension scheme, 25 days annual leave, Life Assurance cover and great flexible benefits and family friendly policies.
3. Eligibility for the firm's Profit-Sharing Plan, paid in December.
4. Eligibility for the discretionary bonus scheme.
