Employment Associate Solicitor
Cambridge – £50,000 - £75,000
Location: Cambridge
Position: Full-Time or Part-Time
Are you an enthusiastic and driven legal professional with a passion for employment law? My Client who are a Leading Law firm are looking for an Associate to join their vibrant Employment team in Cambridge. This role offers flexibility, allowing for both part-time and full-time working arrangements.
Role Overview:
As an Associate, you will work closely with two experienced Partners, managing a diverse and engaging caseload for both employers and employees. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Handling restrictive covenant disputes
2. Addressing confidential information disputes
3. Managing Employment Tribunal litigation
4. Providing day-to-day workplace advice to employers
5. Advising on and drafting settlement agreements
6. Offering corporate support
7. Drafting employment contracts and Employee Handbooks
8. Navigating Data Protection issues in the workplace
Key Responsibilities:
9. Deliver expert advice on a wide range of employment issues.
10. Stay informed about the latest developments in employment law and share knowledge with the team.
11. Foster opportunities for cross-referral of work within the firm.
12. Participate in business development initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills:
My client are seeking a candidate with:
13. 3-6 years PQE in Employment Law
14. A strong foundation in employment law
15. Collaborative skills and the ability to manage client relationships effectively
16. Excellent technical and drafting abilities
17. Strong teamwork and relationship-building skills
18. Commercial awareness
19. A proactive, ambitious, and organized mindset with attention to detail
