HGV Technician needed
Belvedere
Our client, a privately owned top truck franchise group, is seeking a HGV Technician to join their team in the Belvedere branch.
Role: HGV Technician
Hours: Mon-Sat (Apply online only) then Mon-Fri (Apply online only) alternate weeks
Location: Belvedere
Key Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for fast and accurate diagnoses using diagnostic tools and choosing the right repair techniques.
2. Work independently to maintain and repair DAF vehicles and components.
3. Carry out a range of inspections (MOT, tacho, etc.).
4. Provide support and daily mentoring for less experienced technicians.
5. Carry out final checks on completed work.
Requirements:
1. A completed secondary vocational education.
2. A broad vehicle-related technical knowledge, preferably of DAF products.
3. Extensive experience in carrying out repairs and maintenance on trucks, components, and associated vehicles.
4. Familiarization with developments in the automotive industry.
