Administrator Bridgnorth Temporary initially 4-6 weeks £14.32 per hour Monday-Friday 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm (36.25 hours per week) Prince Personnel are working with a well-established manufacturing business based in Bridgnorth who are looking for an administrator to join them on a temporary basis to provide absence cover, the requirement is initially expected to be for 4-6 weeks. The role will be in the logistics / shipping department however you dont necessarily need a logistics background if you have good general administration skills. Responsibilities and duties will include, but not limited to : Providing support to the Logistics Ops Manager, with focus on overland and deep sea shipments Daily contact with customers and logistic companies by telephone and email Liaising with the Sales and Planning departments to confirm customer schedules and priorities Liaising with the Technical department for releasing held coils after further quality checks Liaising with Operations departments to ensure accurate and timely loading and containerisation of finished material Coordinating bookings with transport and logistic providers to achieve required delivery dates Accurately generating despatch and shipping documentation in a timely manner including customs clearance and export documentation Checking, generating and distributing customer invoices Arranging internal/external collection of reject materials and empty packaging Assisting with the maintenance of the shipping document/ commercial data filing system Providing telephone reception and cover Assisting the Logistics Ops Manager in controlling stock levels Liaising with transport and logistic providers to achieve required delivery dates. Skills and Experience: Previous office-based administration experience Computer literate; Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and business systems Good levels of numeracy and literacy Commercially aware with a careful, professional and respectful approach to customers and service providers. Good oral and written communication skills required. Confident and friendly telephone manner. Good listening skills and accurate recording of details. High degree of accuracy and consistency. Experience working to strict deadlines. The ability to work well in a team environment, building positive and trusting relationships.
